Putin says a settlement to end the war in Ukraine is within reach

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday there's a chance of reaching a deal to end the war in Ukraine, adding that the U.S. and China are among the countries prepared to support a settlement, according to Reuters. Separately, a Ukrainian strike on the Russian city of Belgorod killed four people, including two medical workers, according to regional officials.
